  1. Dear Japan Junior High School,

Hi. I am student at another Junior High School in Toronto. I have seen so many pictures of destruction of Japan so I can feel the pain and sorrow like you. I don’t think it’s fair for such wholesome and pure people like you to go through something as horrible as the tsunami and earthquake. I’m sorry. I’m not going to mention that destruction again.

I am only another child across the world that is sending a hope letter. I am only another person that is trying to make up for your loss. But, each person counts, doesn’t it? Even YouTube star, Nigahiga, is helping. I can’t offer money but I can offer hope and a blessing. So I offer it as much as I can. God bless you and others. Hope is around the corner.

Sometimes, things like this can’t be controlled. Maybe it’s fate or something. Be happy you’re alive, at least. However, don’t forget the ones that are lost. I am truly sorry for what has happened but fully believe it will pass quickly and soon things will be back to normal. There is so much I want to say but I can’t. The words won’t come out properly.

Overall, keep in mind the whole world is there for you. The sun will always shine no matter how cloudy the sky may seem.

  4. Letter to Japan

I know that there was a great threat in Japan and nuclear problems. I saw what happened on Youtube. There must be a lot of stress living in school and probably lot of people lost their family. There must be limit in foods. But lot of people doing charity and sending letters to Japan so don’t give up. There’s still hope. NEVER GIVE UP.
    Sincerely
    Kosuke and Daisuke

  5. Dear Junior High School of Japan,

I am a fellow student from Windfields JHS from Toronto, Canada. I can’t imagine what you’re going through right now. The tsunami brought many losses to you all. I hope you will be able to rebuild your country and your family. I know I can not feel how hard this is for you but, I hope this letter can bring you hope. I hope very badly that the devastation led to much destruction to many homes and families. I wish badly that I was there to help out the people in Japan. Also, even though we are not with you, you know that we will try very hard to give all our strength and effort into the recovery of Japan. Watching the videos of the tsunami waves touched our hearts.

It will quite awhile to recover Japan but, don’t give up your hopes yet, have hope in your hearts no matter how small. You know that always the hero comes to save the day. The miracle is that many people survived and is alive. But, let’s pray for those who were snatched away by the wave. I am not sure what to actually talk. It’s not that I do not care but, it’s because it’s hard to feel the pain. This is how much I can say now. God bless you all and we hope that you will be able to rebuild yourselves.

  14. Dear Japan:
Hi, I am a student from Windfields Junior High School, Toronto, Canada. I have noticed that there were a lot of dangerous thing that had happened in Japan. With all those earthquakes and tsunamis, it has been a really hard time for you to go through…

There were similar things that happened in my home country too: Sichuan, China. A lot of people died during that earthquake, I was very sad. I would absolutely see the pain that you feel within you right now…

Leave the past, and go on to a new and better life. There just isn’t that many things you can do about this, so why don’t we do what we can do: forget the pain in the past, and move on… You and me…

    Sincerely,
    Isabelle Xing

I am a student in Junior High in Toronto. As I watched the news, articles, and footage of the natural disaster in Japan, many people around the world were worried. First I was in shock, this horrible earthquake did enough of damage but a tsunami made it worse. Many countries sent supports; however that didn’t stop the damage. It will take lots of time to reprocess their economic. We give you all of our support here in Canada and hope that your country will recover from the damage of the tsunami. Not only us but also the citizens of Japan should work too.
My deepest condolences go out to those who have been affected by this tragic incident. Many people are sharing their hopes and wishes to the People in Japan. The schools in Japan would be in a paused moment. However the from the help of all the people around the world can help Japan. Soon we wish to see Japan in its normal shape again.
    Hope letter for Japan
